At the end of June 2019 Litostroj Power signed a contract with Fortum AB for turbine refurbishment at HPP Spjutmo in Sweden. Contract consists of design, construction, production, refurbishment, supply of new and refurbished parts, site machining, disassembly, assembly, site supervision and putting vertical Kaplan unit into operation.

In relation with ongoing refurbishment project in Kenya (HPP Kamburu) which was signed between Kenyan electricity producer KenGen and Consortium of Litostroj Power and Končar KET from Croatia in 2015, 12 KenGen personnel attended 4-week training course in consortium headquarters in Ljubljana and Zagreb.

Slovenian Research Agency (ARRS) granted co-funding for applied research project Modelling of trapped air pockets in hydraulic piping systems on June 18, 2019. Litostroj Power is a leading organization in collaboration with the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Ljubljana.

Litostroj Power received a Bronze Award in Innovation Category in Central Eastern Europe for greenfield SAP S/4 Hana implementation. Award ceremony took place at the largest SAP conference in Czech Republic, which was held in Cubex Center Prague on April 29.

The next generation of students of Engineering and Business program from The University of Kansas (USA) visited Litostroj Power. We presented them what we do, how do we do it and what are our specialties in the industry.

We are proud to announce that Litostroj Power has been selected as the Bronze Winner of the SAP Quality Awards for SAP S/4 HANA implementation in the Innovation Category in Central Eastern Europe.

Litostroj Power has participated as exhibitor at conference Africa 2019 – “Water storage and hydropower Development for Africa”. Conference was organized in Windhoek, capital city of Namibia.

Amendment to the contract for Lagarfoss U1 is signed for additional turbine works and refurbishment of generator parts.

Contract consists of design, construction, production, supply, assembly and putting 2 valves DN 2300 PN 32 into operation.

Consortium of Litostroj Power d.o.o, Končar - Generatori i motori d.d. and Elektroremont d.o.o. Subotica signed the contract for general overhaul of Unit 2 at HPP Piva in Montenegro.
