Litostroj Power joined Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia's initiative to organize Open days of the Slovenian companies for pupils and their parents.

Litostroj Power signed a contract with Verbund Innkraftwerke GmbH from Germany for new Hydropower plant Töging am Inn in Germany. We will make new design for the runner and execution of model tests. If model test will be successful, we will produce three new Kaplan turbines with nominal power 45,20 MW with auxiliary systems.

Litostroj Power participated at 2nd international summit and exhibition “Hydropower Balkans 2018” in Budva, Montenegro, from 6th to 8th November and it was organised by Vostock Capital. This summit gathered engineers, scientists, bankers, lawyers and environmentalists, mostly from Balkan region.

Litostroj Power actively participated at the Hydro 2018 conference organized by The International Journal on Hydropower & Dams. This annual event took place from October 14th to October 17th in the amber city of Gdansk, Poland.

Another milestone for Litostroj Power Group occurred yesterday, when we loaded the runner onto the transport for exceptional dimensions.

Litostroj Power's team of researchers and designers and colleagues from our daughter company CKD Blansko Engineering joined 29th IAHR Symposium on Hydraulic Machinery and Systems in Kyoto, Japan. This symposium gather scientists and engineers from all over the world to discuss the most recent advances in theoretical, experimental and computational research as well as the latest challenges faced by the industry.

Litostroj Power successfully handed over model tests for the Lay Dam HPP, Alabama, USA. The acceptance tests has taken place in our Hydraulic Laboratory in Blansko, Czech Republic.

In the last days of August, Litostroj Power has successfully completed the last steps in the manufacturing of more than 300 MW Francis runner for Dlouhé Stráně power plant, operated by Czech national utility ČEZ. The runner has successfully passed the last quality inspection before it will be shipped for the installation to the site at Desná River in Moravia.

Joint Venture Litostroj Power – ABB signed a contract with Elektroprivreda Crne Gore for refurbishment and modernization of HPP Piva in Montenegro, worth more than 10 million euros.

In June, 2018, Litostroj Power signed a contract for a complete modernisation and upgrading of the polar crane (Electric overhead crane of circular motion), installed in the first block of nuclear power plant “Yuzhnoukrainskaya” in Yuzhnoukrainsk, Ukraine.
